Cradle to Cradle Certified products are made with safer materials and responsible processes to positively impact people and our planet.
WAP draws on its decades of certifications experience to help companies pursuing certification navigate the requirements of the C2C standard in a sequenced and prioritized manner. WAP assesses products and materials from any industry and country that are eligible for certification under the C2C Certification Program.
LIVING PRODUCT CHALLENGE
Living Product Challenge certification makes transparent the process of manufacturing and includes LCA Assessment and Healthy Materials requirements that include providing carbon and health information in a clear, easy-to-use format that makes it easy to turn data into action.
WAP works with our clients to understand the key components of the Living Product Challenge including the standards 7 Petals and 20 Imperatives. WAP assesses products and materials from any industry and country that are eligible for certification under the LPC Certification Program.
GreenScreen Certified
GreenScreen Certified™ is an independent, non-profit certification standard that promotes the use of inherently safer chemicals in products and manufacturing.
Products are certified to Bronze, Silver or Gold. Bronze certification prohibits the use of any chemical of high concern listed on globally recognized chemical hazard lists as defined by the GreenScreen List Translator. WAP Sustainability is a Licensed GreenScreen Profiler who is also an Approved GreenScreen Consultant. Although different product categories will have some specific requirements, WAP Sustainability can help brands and manufacturers navigate the requirements of GreenScreen Certified.

Certification bodies such as UL, SCS, and NSF support industry developed multi-attribute sustainability certifications such as BIFMA, Green Squared, NSF 140 and many more. WAP Sustainability support product manufacturers in pursuing these certifications from project inception through certification. WAP will help you understand the certification and standard and chart the best path for high levels of certification achievement. WAP’s experience with these certifications as well as other industry expectations allows us to “package” credit requirements for optimal benefit and impact.
Carbon Neutral Certifications
WAP Sustainability provides advisory and certification services for companies interested in declaring its product or operations as “carbon neutral”.
WAP helps organizations navigate the over 30 competing certifications and labeling programs to understand the GHG Inventory or LCA requirements, effort and costs associated with each. WAP also provides its own branded Carbon Neutral Certification Program for products and operations but also works with many leading certifications such as ClearLoop, CarbonFund.org Carbonfree® Product Certification, Carbon Trust Reducing CO2, and many more.
