LIVING PRODUCT CHALLENGE
Living Product Challenge certification makes transparent the process of manufacturing and includes LCA Assessment and Healthy Materials requirements that include providing carbon and health information in a clear, easy-to-use format that makes it easy to turn data into action.
WAP works with our clients to understand the key components of the Living Product Challenge including the standards 7 Petals and 20 Imperatives. WAP assesses products and materials from any industry and country that are eligible for certification under the LPC Certification Program.
GreenScreen Certified
GreenScreen Certified™ is an independent, non-profit certification standard that promotes the use of inherently safer chemicals in products and manufacturing.
Products are certified to Bronze, Silver or Gold. Bronze certification prohibits the use of any chemical of high concern listed on globally recognized chemical hazard lists as defined by the GreenScreen List Translator. WAP Sustainability is a Licensed GreenScreen Profiler who is also an Approved GreenScreen Consultant. Although different product categories will have some specific requirements, WAP Sustainability can help brands and manufacturers navigate the requirements of GreenScreen Certified.
WAP offers industry-leading Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) verification services, ensuring your data meets the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. Our expertise spans global program operators, including PEP Eco-Passport, International EPD System, IBU, UL Environment, and others. With approved verifier credentials in place across EU and international programs, WAP provides robust third-party verification for LCAs supporting Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), product certifications, product carbon footprint (PCF) and regulatory compliance. WAP Sustainability is a verified Higg FEM provider, offering comprehensive verification services for the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM).
Higg FEM verification ensures your data is credible, providing transparency and building trust with stakeholders. WAP supports clients throughout the verification process, from kick-off to completion. We help identify gaps in your assessment and set a performance baseline for year-over-year comparisons, ensuring a smooth, thorough process that clarifies your facility’s sustainability performance.
